Capisnon.com publishes essays, fiction, poetry, feature and human interest stories, travel narratives, and reviews, by writers from Capiz or Western Visayas (and beyond) and those of the diaspora.
Poetry: Maximum of 10 poetry entries.
Prose: Maximum of 2,000 words (essay, fiction, poetry, feature and human interest story, travel narrative, and review) . We also encourage submission of flash fiction (100-500 words).
Language: English, Filipino, Hiligaynon, Akeanon, and Kinaray-a
File Format: Microsoft Word document (.docx).
Bio: Include a brief author biography with your submission.
Subject Line: Clearly indicate the title and genre of your submission. Example: “Short Story: Martina's Magical Garden”.

Once you submit your story, we will carefully review it for potential inclusion in an upcoming issue. While we may not respond to emails immediately, rest assured that we’ve received your submission. If your story is accepted for publication, the editor will notify you via email, typically during the week of the issue's release, and provide details about the publication date.
As a community-driven, non-commercial publication, we rely on voluntary contributions and are unable to pay for submitted articles.
